TGIF!!

Its the first Friday ever since I started my new job and now I know how TGIF actually feels when you work in an office!! Because previously in F&B, weekends didn't matter actually... People out there are enjoying their weekends but we're working hard to ensure a pleasant weekend for everyone. What are weekends? :P

So I was pretty excited because I was looking forward to a two day weekend after a somewhat hectic week of training and handing over. We're actually behind our schedule for training; we haven't met Leon from MICE (Tuesday), Peiyi from Reservations (Wednesday) and Giovanni from F&B (Thursday). Reason is probably because the three of them are really busy people. Like you don't really see them around in the office.

For example, Giovanni is the Assistant Director of F&B so he always pops into the F&B outlets to help out or supervise. Our training with him was supposed to be at 2pm on Thursday, but at 1.45pm I saw him leave the office and I knew we were not going to catch him anymore for that day. Kanchana arranged for training for us on Friday at 3pm instead and guess what, we missed it again. He rescheduled it to 5pm and then he was nagging about how I don't need a training for F&B hahaha.

So I did multiple eClub vouchers and I almost went crazy because of the printers that are super annoying. They just don't print the right documents at times and I need to void so many vouchers. Argh.

Marcus brought us for sight inspection and it was quite fun hehe. He brought us to the ballrooms, followed by meeting rooms on M Floor, then to the Horizon Club rooms and all before heading to 24th floor. I wanna confess here; the memories of that place still hasn't faded. Everything rushed back the moment I stepped foot out of the lift on the 24th floor. Blu Bar & Horizon Club. I was there because of you. And everything else happened because of you.

We didn't manage to finish the tour and it was 6pm already. Elisabeth is going on leave already so I won't be seeing her next week or so. Please hope Aswin and I survive on our own when Kanchana goes on leave too!! Have a great weekend!!
