08 March 2014, Saturday
Its a blessing to be able to sleep in after a long week at work. I woke up at noon just when the sun was bright and high int the sky. Woke up to the news about the disappearance of the Malaysian flight to Beijing.
Background Info: After departing Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at midnight, MH370 that was scheduled for landing at 6.30am at Beijing, China disappeared from the radars at 2.40am. Yet Malaysia Airline (MAS) only took action after more than 7 hours of delay, and even up till 10pm on Saturday the airline still doesn't have news about the location of the plane or information for the relatives of the passengers on board. Passengers on board were mainly Chinese Nationals, some Malaysians and the rest are minority nationalities. Singapore, Vietnam, China and America has sent help to search for the missing jet.
I still don't comprehend what could have happened. Isn't it a little unusual for a plane to suddenly go off the radar without reporting about any damages or whatsoever during the flight? Sincerely hope everything will be alright...
Saw the above image on Twitter and it totally broke my heart... I hope they find them soon, and that people stop spreading irresponsible and untrue information over the internet. On the other hand, MAS should really start doing something.
